out of town again

ajvaSplendid weekend in Cambridge staying with my lovely pal Rupert. There were also quantities of Wee Dave, whom some of you met in Scotland, and little Ulster volcano Quinny, whose accent is as impenetrable as ever when she's been on the booze.
Saturday night after the pubs closed was particularly civilised: Rupert and I sat about his rooms quaffing a Blandy's 1998 madeira and he introduced me to the gentle pleasure of narghile. The mint flavour was particularly appealing.
I feel refreshed now, if a little tired.
