A problem

This lunchtime, I realised that the main problem with being an atheist is that - unlike our religious brethren - we can't get the smug satisfaction of knowing that, when they die, everyone else will realise they were wrong.

But a good thing is that, as long as we can think about death, we are still living!
In the words of Epicurus ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epicure ): When we are here there is no death, and when death is here we are not around. So that means that also an atheist will live forever, because when he/she is not here he/she will not know. So for ourselves life is endless. This, to me sound so much nicer than going to hell/heaven, or going through the rather tiring process of reincarnation..
