ajvaWon't bore you with the details, but basically, despite much phoning up of utility companies, Transco and so on, no-one was claiming responsibility for my gas supply. I was concerned at this, as I was worried that I could get cut off and then have no idea who to call up about it.
Today and yesterday, I appear to have spoken to someone With Clue at EDF. They'll be getting in touch with Transco and annexing my meter as a "found meter".
And the good news?
No retrospective bills. I don't owe anyone a penny, because - let's emphasise this - no-one was claiming responsibility for my gas supply. That's 18 months of free gas, suckers. I so win.
