Easy like Sunday afternoon

A nice civilised time we had of it today, up about 10:30 for me (Stef had been woken earlier by some noise on the marshes - sometimes it's a plus having less than perfect hearing). Then out to buy the paper, faff a bit, and then a leisurely few hours' cycle ride around Walthamstow to judge the prettiness or otherwise of houses, a quick pint in a Polish bar, and then home for the footie. I started off supporting Germany, since I feel I have more connections to there than to Spain, but it really would have been a travesty if they'd won, so I was happy with the result, which was a bit of a fairy tale for the Spanish and, indeed, their manager, who's retiring.

A jolly nice, relaxed day.
