Having been looking at some of Stef's family photo albums with him and [livejournal.com profile] trishpiglet on Sunday night, and then just now my eye catching [livejournal.com profile] adjectivemarcus's userpic of him as a young 'un, I really really would like to have an "everybody brings along a cute photo of them as a kid" party.

How do people feel about this? I realise not everybody would be able to provide such a photo, but surely even so it would still be entertaining to see other people's pics?

I like seeing cute versions of my adult friends, and comparing what they look like then with their personalities now. :o)

Any takers?

If you got people to give the pics to you beforehand you could make a big quiz thingie like Trish's hair quiz of recent years.

Party! Yaay!

Except that people who already publish pictures of themselves as kids would be at a disadvantage...

Oh, I'm sure I can find a suitable one - group shots would be good, they'd have to work out which one they were supposed to recognise and all. ;o)

I'd ve up for this, provided I have enough time to get my mother to go through her collection and send me some pictures from Germany. There's one in particular I've been meaning to get from her, anyway.

even if I could get a photo out of my parents, it'd have to be as a very small kiddy, as I systematically burned all photos of myself between the ages of 8 and 14, and avoided cameras like the plague for the next three years.

sounds like fun! If, by some million-to-one chance it happened while I was in London, you could experience the wonder and beauty of me in my She-Ra costume, aged 8 ...

I look pretty similar now to how I looked then, except that I had more hair, fewer wrinkles and a lot less flesh. Make these mental alterations and you will know what I looked like when I was young and cute (and a motormouth and incapable of keeping my socks pulled up).

Come to think of, quite often I am still a motormouth and incapable of keeping my socks pulled up. How much has really changed, I ask myself?

Sounds great!
I was soo cute as a little kid, can't believe what I've turned into looking
at baby and toddler pics.

Up for it

but I'll warn you know, pictures of me are neither cute, big or clever.

I'm definitely in - I've been meaning to organise one myself for ages.

I have the ideal photo, if I can find it.

Ooh - we could all draw pictures of what we'll look like when we're really old, too...

Yeah, I'm in.

As for really old; I suspect I'll be one of those who get thinner and thinner and thinner as they 'progress' through their 80s and 90s...

I'd be up for that. I'd need to go home and get some pics though.
