skin staples

Well, the doctor had never taken staples out before, but womanfully gave it "a go". After much wrenching and crunching of scabs and still no joy, she called the nurse down, who thankfully had a better idea what to do. I disappeared upstairs and she sorted me out. I now have the staples in a small jar to keep as a memento.

Ow.
