I've paid off one of my credit cards with a chunk of cash (with a consolidation loan at much lower interest), but I accidentally overpaid because I checked the repayable balance before the final monthly payment filtered through to the account.

So I've donated $20 to Karyn, and I'm going to leave the other £20 or so in the account to see what happens when a credit card account is actually ... well ... *in credit*.

Wonder if they'll pay me interest? :o)

Nope. Just read about the site in Metro this morning. I'm just curious to see if anybody else apart from me is actually willing to donate (of the people I know, that is). I would expect most people to be of Karen's opinion, see.

TBH, I think she's ridiculously brave. It's not easy to ask for help when you're in a mess - I've assfucked myself on occasion, cause I was too proud to accept help when I needed it. Although a few months ago, when I was in the process of moving, I needed the same kind of help (although far less money was involved), and if it wasn't for the nicest guy in the world on my friends list, I may have ended up homeless.
