missing bit of ear

I can't remember what it's called, but you know that bit of your ear that sticks out in the middle (I know people get piercings through it, but I can't for the life of me remember what it's called)?

Well, they cut a big chunk of that off when they did my ear operation to use as the skin graft on my eardrum.

You know how people who've had their limbs amputated talk about how they get itches in legs/arms they don't have anymore? Well, I'm having something similar. It's not an itch as such (I do get that, but you can scratch the bit next to it and that does fine, because the bit that's missing's not very big), but now I've got an overwhelming desire just to pinch it/touch it. But it's not there. Argh!

Anyway, just thought you'd like to know that. No sympathy required for what is not really a big deal. :o)

My advice is to get your phantom tragus pierced with a biiiiiiiig fuck off piercing (lots of studs and spikes). You could always take it out for the office.
