I was a total sitting duck for that camp Asian butterfly of a frame salesman, though: I've got me some pricey Dior frames. Internet shopping next time, I think. Once I'm used to all this arcane prescriptions stuff.

Date: 2008-01-09 08:35 pm (UTC)On the other hand I do think there are good arguments for splurging on a first pair of glasses - having spent one's inheritance (or whatever) on them, one's that much more likely to e.g. take care of them and actually wear them and so forth. I've been wearing glasses for over twenty years, though...
