birthday conundrum
Hi there. I wonder if you can all help me. I turn 30 next February and I want to have huge party goodness - but the date I was going to use for a birthday party (7th Feb - my birthday's on the 5th) clashes with the winks club dinner, which is an absolute social must for me. I'm also still unsure what I'm going to do to celebrate. The only thing I'm certain of is that I want to do a variety of things so that as many people as possible have a chance to come to some of it.

Fortunately, two or three month-old babies are very portable and sleep a lot. If there's any horizontal baby-sized space they can be left in (no rolling over yet!) they should be fine. Or finding people to volunteer their shoulder to act as a bed for a baby is not difficult.
When she was slightly older (about five or six months from memory) we were surprised and pleased when she was fine with water in a cup, provided she could hold it.
But milk had to be 'direct from source' until it was mixed with baby rice from five months.

I'm weighing up how popular the different options are, and then I expect I'll do two or hopefully three of them, perhaps on consecutive days.

Paintballing is not my cup of tea, but I would try to come to any of the others. Swimming or zoo would both work well for the kids, and some of the others (party, meal out, museum, London Eye) could work too depending on choice of venue, time of day etc. B might like to come on a theatre trip, depending on the play.
